Works, plug is reversible, either charge or connect to computer. I’m missing a cover for the phone contacts and I have had to clean prior to use, but otherwise units works well.

Tried this on both my desktop and laptop, with and without the software installed (instructions say it should work either way) but both the computer and the phone did not recognize the presence of the cable. Costs more for shipping to return the item than it does to order another from another vendor. Save your money – buy somewhere else.
